Say hello to my corner of the Internet
I’m Ronak, an Engineering Physics undergraduate at the University of Alberta currently working with Prof. Gill Porat. I also work in the Ultracold Atoms Laboratory with Prof. Lindsay LeBlanc, where I help maintain and integrate hardware for optical tweezer experiments. My interests are in experimental physics, quantum optics, and neutral-atom arrays, and I’m preparing for graduate study in this area. This site is a place to collect notes, projects, and things I’m learning along the way.
When I’m not studying, you will almost always find me out on the trails. I enjoy competing in marathons and ultra-distance races, and running has taught me the value of patience, consistency, and long-term effort toward meaningful goals. I’m also interested in exploring philosophical ideas and enjoy reading and reflecting on them in my free time.
